3D Haunted Houses

Our October PBL (project based learning) activity centered around 3D shapes and reusing.  We have been collecting junk, from what seems, every person in Symsonia for the past month or so!  Believe me, our room was starting to look like a junkyard.  When the time finally arrived, we were able to take that junk and make some pretty awesome haunted houses.  The students worked with their table to team to construct some pretty cool structures.  They then were able to paint them black.  Mrs. Janet then went over them with some black spray paint to fill in any missed spots.  After they dried, the students were able to decorate them.  They couldn't wait to display them around the school.  The kids also created for sale signs in google slides.  We learned about fonts and editing size and color.  We also learned about adding clip art.  Best of all, they had to price their masterpieces.  So, if anyone is needing a good house, we've got you covered...if you can afford it.  Haha  We encourage you to come and see them one day if you didn't get a chance to see them at Parent Teacher Conferences.  On that note, thank you to all the parents that came.  Together we are a TEAM!
